Blah...




Been running around like a chicken with its head cut off lately. Lots of work, lots of school, lots of gym, and lots of all that random stuff that just seems to come up.

I did get to go to Seattle last weekend and enjoy a few days in the city, which was a welcome break. I got to hang with good peoples, help my friends the Staxx Brothers with their first music video, I have a cameo in it =p and in general relax.

Life is good despite all the hustle.

Catching up

Been AWOL for a few days on the old blog, but I am back

Been way too much going on where to start with I have no idea. I am busy taking care of all the stuff I can control which is work, school, and what I do with all my free time (not). Hurt my left hip Friday so took it easy and only went to the gym Saturday and Monday, before starting back up with the daily visits today. I went to Costco yesterday and sweat I cannot get out of that place without spending at least $150. Seriously I could go in their for contact solution and somehow spend 200 bucks without flinching.

Already hit the gym today and have to hit the dentist, the auto parts store (Sammy isn't running and need to replace a wiper arm on my pontiac), to get an oil change, haircut, work, then school and Lost if I can stay awake until 10pm which is 50/50 at best.

Breakfast
Pumpkin and Flax cereal with a banana and almond milk

Lunch bed of spinach, leftover rice and beans and vegtables mixed in with cashews and mustard

Snack sipped on some superfood

Dinner
Threw the leftover brown rice, beans and vegtables into organic tomato soup added a bit of irish cheese and had it with a small spinach salad and two pieces of flax seed bread

Also managed with the help of some of my lady friends to go order a bunch of new clothes as it was time for a wardrobe makeover

Now I have to clean out that damn closet full of old clothing =p

The Difference between Real and Reality


Skipped breakfast cause I overslept

Lunch was veggie fajitas as I went out with coworkers
Hit the gym it was a lifting day but I delayed that until tomorrow morning and just sweated the day out with 45 minutes of cardio

Dinner is dried fruit from trader joes and pumpkin and flax seed cereal with almond milk and a banana

The post title refers to the clarity I came to today after some pushing from those in the inner circle

What a Wed!

So yeah

I had a hard time sleeping last night, I fell asleep for about half of lost, woke up towards the end, was of course totally lost and then proceed to sleep on the couch until 3 am (classy hey!). I had trouble going back to sleep and at 5am started prepping for union negotiations with my employer as the shop steward. Those ran most of the morning then I got to go file a police report for several packages that had not showed up but been delivered in the past two weeks. After that of course i get home to find said packages with a note saying the key for the big mailbox had been placed in the wrong mailbox. WOW, my tax dollars at work and I am still not sure why a FedEx package ended up with my mail packages, but whatever I got my stuff.

Food today

OJ for breakfast, I was at Tam's Place for a meeting and nothing sounded good.

Lunch Tomato and Minestrone soup with a flax seed and irish cheese sandwhich

Dinner: Repeated Lunch

I am skipping the gym today my left hip is a little sore and I will do weights and cardio tomorrow.

Not my best day

Work was meh, a bunch of random crap came up at home that distracted me and on top of that I discovered that my last two packages mailed to me got stolen off my front porch

I really do not have much to say about today I hope it ends soon.

Gym Chest, Arms, Back, Wii Fit Yoga for my core and 45 minutes of cardio

Greens, almonds, brown rice and raisins with mustard

Lentil Soup, Green Beans and a bit of cheese and bread

Meh is for Monday

So I slept way too much Friday and Saturday and I paid for it yesterday as I could not sleep and finally drifted off around 2:30AM to awaken at 5AM and stare like a zombie out the window for over an hour before I realized I had things to do.

No breakfast I did have some decaf tea and a braeburn apple but nothing really solid so far.

Lunch was mixed greens, leftover brown rice, peas, corn, and almonds with mustard and some raw carrots

Dinner haven't gotten to it yet spent 3 hours applying for a job at Oregon State University and now most go find something...I am going to guess it will be some sort of vegetarian soup and bread I am not feeling fancy today

It is definitely mehtastic today

I am exhausted and cranky. I have a dear friend in my life who has been very much complicating my world on and off for the past two months and it has gotten really simply for me. i cannot be what she wants and she cannot be what I need, so we will have to drift away for now. The lack of communication has been awkward since we ran game at each other too hard and too often but I am so over feelings, which for those of you that know me, know I don't catch them often but when I do I catch them hard. This wasn't even on my mind last night when I couldn't sleep but it was on my mind today. Anyways I got played, I played back, we both ran, such is life. Cannot wait to get to a city where I can just meat lots of cool people and vibe with them.

I spent a large part of the night just listening to music and this verse by common is sticking with me right now

Super Sunday

Got up chugged some Odwalla Mango Tango Smoothie and some water and hit the gym for chest, arms, back, abs and 30 minutes of cardio

Got home in time to catch the Celtics and Magic play on ABC (the one channel I get)

Lunch was two pieces of flaxseed bread a bit of irish dubliner cheese, leftover stiry mixings and some organic salsa.

Ah Saturday

So I felt fairly terrible last night and took some NyQuil and went to bed around 9pm which meant I was asleep by 930 at the latest. I woke up around 7am but stayed in bed until 9am before getting up and getting busy. Spent the rest of the morning reading for school and then hit the gym for a hard 45 minute cardio session which did wonders for me. After that I got home and spent a couple hours finishing up some school work for my Reference class before setting down to make dinner. No clue what the night will be, may be heading out to do something or may just chill at home and play with the wii. I am getting more ink work done on my left arm this weekend (hopefully)

Breakfast
Two pieces of nana bread and hummus
Lunch
Huge spinach salad with raisins, almonds, onions, tomatoes, hummus, and mustard
Dinner (cooking right now)
Brown rice with stir fry vegetables, mushrooms, peppers, green beans, black beans in a garlic lemon pepper sauce

Snack a few almonds and raisins

Woke up starving at 1 AM and had a little wheat fajita filled with leftovers

Was at the gym at 4:55 and more scarily wide awake. I have had way too much energy lately but that is a good thing. Snacked on a few almonds and a bit of superfood before the gym and then added 5 minutes to my post lift cardio...up to 35 minutes and aiming for 45-60 a day

Tomato Soup and Green Beans with a few carrots

I tried vegetarian nachos, didn't eat many they tasted fine but I am not feeling well

Woke up at 4:30 AM did some school and haven't really gotten around to eating yet (too much to do)As the pic shows I need to clean up this facial hair and get a tan...perhaps I need to add tanning to gym and laundry and fully embrace the jersey shore lifestyle?

Breakfast at 930 AM Banana and C Monster Strawberry Smoothie

Lunch Leftover Brown Rice, Lentil Soup and Stir fy over a bed of spinach with mustard and almonds. Also had a piece of flaxseed bread.

Snack Superfood bar....so damn good

Dinner Tomato Soup, Green Beans, and some organic bread with cheese

Day 4



As you can see the two hour return of lost took a toll on my sleep, I made it through it, but did fall asleep an hour before it started in the middle of a discussion post for school. But up at 5AM to conquer the world one day at a time. I got some sage advice from a friend last night reminding me to only focus on what I can do and more importantly what I can fix and the rest will take care of itself. That seems like a small bit of advice, but it went along ways to give me clarity in some crap that has been going on in my life that I clearly cannot fix. Anyways onto the update...

Wake up chug some water and hit the gym for chest, arms, shoulders, back and 30 minutes of cardio.

Snack Braeburn Apple

Lunch Vegan Brat, stirfry vegtables on a bed of spinach with mustard and almonds. Piece of Nana bread with hummus, water

Snack A little shot of superfood and half a single serving of a odwalla vitamin c smoothie!

Pre Dinner Snack small piece of sourdough and a bit of organic mozzarella
